      Welcome to Bahasa Inggris Keperawatan Class. There will be 14 course meetings and 2 meetings for test (UTS and UAS). The RPS and module of Bahasa Inggris Keperawatan will be attached in meeting 1.

  • Meeting 1: Course Introduction

    Good morning, everyone.

    Welcome to the 1st meeting of Bahasa Inggris Keperawatan. Today's meeting objective is the students are able to understand the course contract of Bahasa Inggris Keperawatan. Here is attached the RPS and the modul of Bahasa Inggris Keperawatan.


  • Meeting 2: General Assessment and Hospital Admission

    Welcome to the 2nd meeting of Bahasa Inggris Keperawatan. Today's objecttives are the students are able to: 

     -use general assessment related terms to make questions about patient's demographic data, health status and medical records.

    - answer questions based on reading text about hospital admission.

    - understand the meaning of hospital admission related terms

    - understand the use of simple past tense.

      2.2 Asking Personal Demographic Data Assignment

      Please do Activity 1: Role Play (In Pair) on Unit 1 page 2. Before that, study expression and questions to collect demographic data elements on page 1 and 2. Get a partner and then record your voice as a nurse asking your patient's personal demographic data. Submit the recording after you finish. Deadline: Wednesday, March 5th 2025 at 12 p.m.

  • Meeting 3: Pain and Symptoms (Part 1)

    Welcome to the 3rd meeting of Bahasa Inggris Keperawatan. At the end of the meeting, the students are able to

    - Understand the meaning of pain related vocabulary items.

    - Use correct expression to explore the dymension of patient symptoms.

      3.2 Pain and Symptoms: Vocabulary Building and Writing Assignment

      Dear students,

      Please refer today's activity to your module page 7-9. 

      1. Find the meaning of vocabulary on page 7 (dull, stabbing, sharp, aching, aggravating factors, alleviating factors) and difficult words on useful expression part. Write the meaning and submit it in pdf format.

      2. Study useful expression to ask about pain and symptoms, then practice making the conversation on ACTIVITY 1 based on case 1 or 2 (choose one only). Write the conversation and then submit it in pdf format.



  • Meeting 4: Pain and Symptoms (Part 2)

    Welcome to the 4th meeting of Bahasa Inggris Keperawatan. 

    At the end of the meeting, the students are able to:

    - answer the questions based on reading text about pain and symptoms

    - write patient' s pain and symptoms record based on the data provided.

  • Meeting 5: Checking Patient's Vital Signs (Part 1)

    Welcome to Meeting 5 of Bahasa Inggris Keperawatan. Objectives of today's meeting are the students are able to: 

    1. use vital sign checking- related vocabulary items correctly.

    2. pronounce the related vocabulary items accurately.

    3. produce sentences (conversation exchange) using correct imperative sentences and expression in checking patients’ vital sign.

      For today's meeting, please do these following activities:

      1. Read the PPt and follow the activity. 

      2. Open your module page 16. Learn how to pronounce the vocabulary items and find the meaning. You may utilize online dictionary and check the pronunciation online. 

      3. Study useful expression to have conversation during vital sign checking on page 17.

      Make a conversation exchange (patient and nurse) based on the situation shown in one of the picture provided (Module page 18). Type it and submit it in the form of pdf file. Due date: March 26th 2025 at 12 p.m.

  • Meeting 6: Checking Patient's Vital Signs (Part 2)

    Welcome to the 6th meeting of Bahasa Inggris Keperawatan. In this meeting, you will only have one activity: Speaking performance (in pair): simulation of checking a patient’s vital sign

      Buatlah video Sdr(i) sebagai perawat menggunakan dialog percakapan ketika melakukan pengecekan tanda vital yang sudah dibuat pada meeting 5. Anda bisa menjadikan salah satu teman sekelas atau orang lain sebagai pasien. Setelah video dibuat silahkan upload dengan batas waktu paling lambat Rabu, 16 April 2025 pukul 16.00 WIB 

  • Meeting 7: Patient's Positioning

    Welcome to the 7th meeting of Bahasa Inggris Keperawatan. The objectives of today's meeting are:
    - the students are able to understand vocabulary items and expression related to patient's positioning;
    - the students are able to give instruction during patient's positioning.

  • Topic 13: 29/05/2022 : Patient Care Plan - Read the passages I have given about Patient Care Plan. Make an interview with your patient and make the Patient Care Plan as a note of your patient medical history just like the example given .
